Good news! Comprehensive Plan passes first vote with unanimous support

We are pleased to report that the new Comprehensive Plan passed with a 12-0 vote by the City Council. Included in the vote was the Upper Wisconsin Avenue designation for mixed use moderate density and the language supporting Inclusionary Zoning.

We've been told firsthand that our emails are making a difference -- and that they even changed one councilmember's vote. Thank you to all who spoke out for the future of our neighborhood.

Our voices have been heard! Let's continue to build our presence and thank the City Council for listening to us. Urge them to adopt the new Comprehensive Plan when they take their second and final vote on Tuesday, December 19.

Email the City Council and be sure to say:

2. Thank you for supporting the new Comprehensive Plan. I support the vision it gives for our city's growth.
3. I am excited about bringing mixed use, transit oriented development to the Upper Wisconsin Avenue corridor.
